Like open skies over wide plains - The Prairie Sky Strand is calm, serene, and quietly beautiful. Featuring 8-9mm round larimar beads in a soft, pastel blue with hints of earthy brown matrix, it is accented with 4mm sterling silver round beads. It’s gentle in color but strong in presence.

About the stone: 

Larimar is a rare stone found only in the Dominican Republic. This milky blue gem is a type of pectolite, a mineral that typically appears gray or white. The blue coloration of larimar is what sets it apart. It gets its name from "mar," the Spanish word for sea, and the Larimar Mine owner’s daughter, Larissa. Sometimes called the "Dolphin Stone" due to its connection to sea life, it is often associated with peace and healing.
