About the stone:
White Buffalo is a unique gemstone with black or brown veining, found exclusively in the Dry Creek Mine in Tonopah, Nevada. While often called “White Buffalo Turquoise” though it is not turquoise, it is actually a mix of minerals, primarily calcite, quartz, and magnesite. Its distinctive coloring and matrix pattern has made it highly sought after in Southwestern jewelry. Jewelry artisans have long valued White Buffalo, representing the rare and sacred white buffalo calf in Native American cultures, for its striking beauty and spiritual meaning. The stone is often associated with purity, freedom, abundance, resilience and some even believe it to have healing properties.
